What you'll do

  • Research threats, vulnerabilities, and weaknesses that affect products and services supported and delivered by Rimini Street.
  • Research applicability of reported vulnerabilities, determine weaknesses and exposures, and determine applicable mitigations.
  • Document mitigations and write/recommend workarounds to assist development of new solutions and security controls.
  • Assist development of proactive controls for 0-day context and produce Security Vulnerability Analysis Reports (SVAR).
  • Work with Client Success Managers to conduct, review and make recommendations during Security Audits for customer ERP and Database environments.
  • Provide support to Product Support Engineers for customer cases dealing with security vulnerabilities.
  • Bring clarity to diverse datasets and provide reporting for executive decision making.
  • Review, suggest, and implement improvements for security practices.
  • Assist in implementation and evaluation of security-focused tools and services.
  • Stay current on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities and controls.
  • Provide feedback to security solution providers and guidance for product enhancements.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of progressive information security responsibility and experience.
  • Highly technical and hands-on experience.
  • Exposure to common industry and regulatory standards - ISO, NIST, SOX, PCI, Privacy Shield.
  • Experience in design and delivery of enterprise-level security controls.
  • Experience performing audits and reviews of ERP systems.
  • SAP Basis experience along with UCON, T-Code understanding, creating authorizations.
  • Extensive project related experience.
  • Strong knowledge in current security threats, trends and mitigations.
  • Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.
  • Willingness to work off hours for short periods when required (e.g. during ZeroDay events).
  • Candidates with security certification preferred (gives higher priority).
