Senior Account Manager with a proven account-sales track record (5+ years quota-carrying in SaaS), owning account renewals, expansion, and upsell outcomes for a high-volume portfolio. Must provide commercial leadership across customer lifecycle stages and collaborate across product/leadership teams. Must be authorized to work in their home country because Help Scout does not sponsor visas.

What you'll do

  • Own a high-volume portfolio of 130–150 accounts end-to-end from onboarding handoff through renewal and expansion.
  • Forecast and track your own revenue goals while identifying risks and opportunities and sharing signals with finance and leadership.
  • Own the full commercial process for renewals and expansions, including discovery, proposals, pricing and contract conversations, procurement coordination, and close.
  • Use customer goals, product usage, account history, and business value to shape recommendations.
  • Drive adoption and engagement through calls, optimization reviews, and QBRs.
  • Partner with Product and cross-functional teams and bring the customer voice into go-to-market meetings and roadmap decisions.
  • Coordinate cross-functional work, including communication cadence and clear next steps with internal teams and customers.
  • Design and continuously improve workflows, using AI tools to create efficiencies and avoid dropped items across a large book of business.
  • Act as the connective tissue between customers and internal teams by anticipating issues and ensuring clear communication and follow-through.

What they require

  • 5+ years of quota-carrying Account Manager experience in SaaS.
  • Proven experience driving renewals, expansions, and upsells with strategic accounts.
  • Ability to own and manage a large active book of 130–150 accounts.
  • Experience leading discovery, presenting recommendations, pricing, renewal discussions, internal approvals, and guiding opportunities to close.
  • Strong commercial judgment and consultative, value-based sales approach.
  • Ability to own revenue goals, maintain pipeline hygiene, identify risks, and communicate clearly with leadership.
  • Ability to work closely with Product, Marketing, and other functions to influence decisions.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn and navigate complex software.
