Bilingual (English & French) Loan Quality Control Specialist needed for a 2-year contract. Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree. Residential mortgage underwriting experience is highly preferred. Must have in-depth verbal and written communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills in both languages.

What you'll do

  • Executes work and audit files to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient service delivery.
  • Ensures consistent, high-quality practices/work and the achievement of business results in alignment with business/group strategies and with productivity goals.
  • Analyzes root causes of any errors discovered during underwriting to provide for effective communication and coaching.
  • Provides ongoing support to the continuous improvement process of the business unit.
  • Thinks creatively and proposes new solutions.
  • Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules.
  • Works mostly independently.
  • Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

What they require

  • Typically, between 3 – 5 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Underwriting experience of residential mortgages are highly preferred.
  • Bilingual skills will be considered an asset

  • Collaboration & team skills - In-depth.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth.
  • You're fluent in French and English to support business operations outside the province of Quebec .
