What you'll do

  • Develop deep proficiency with Neara software platform including AutoDesign
  • Serve as technical subject matter expert in customer conversations and demos
  • Partner with Sales to craft technical presentations and demo scripts
  • Partner with Marketing to shape messaging and content for utility practitioners
  • Partner with Product to channel the voice of the utility designer into the roadmap
  • Map Neara capabilities against incumbent tooling and adjacent platforms
  • Build playbooks, technical FAQs, and objection handling materials
  • Engage directly with utility stakeholders from designers to VPs

What they require

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Designer, Estimator, or equivalent role in utility design
  • Experience with pole loading, sag-tension analysis, clearance and NESC compliance
  • 3–5 years working at or embedded with an electric utility
  • Proficiency in at least one industry design tool (PLS-CADD, SpidaCalc, OCalc, Pole Foreman, or AutoCAD)
  • Aptitude for code (Python, VBA, or similar) to automate work
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical calculations to executives and business cases to designers
  • Comfort with cross-functional work between Sales, Product, and Marketing
  • Willingness to travel domestically 20–30%
