What you'll do

  • Run the technical sales motion end-to-end, including discovery, architecture, demos, whiteboard sessions, executive briefings, and security reviews to win technical buy-in.
  • Go deep on the prospect's stack, including identity providers, CRMs, ITSM, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS apps Genspark integrates with.
  • Scope integrations, anticipate blockers, and prove value in a pilot.
  • Translate technical environments into scoped pilots by defining success criteria, building proof-of-concept workspaces, and demonstrating how Genspark's multi-agent workflows replace point-tool sprawl.
  • Be the credible voice on security and access, covering guardrails, approval workflows, least-privilege access, audit logging, and compliance questions from security teams.
  • Build the SE toolkit from scratch, including demo environments, reference architectures, evaluation frameworks, technical FAQs, competitive positioning, and repeatable plays that scale the team.
  • Act as the bridge between field and product by capturing hard objections, feature gaps, and real-world use cases, then working directly with Engineering to close them.
  • Enable the broader GTM org by packaging learnings into demo assets, talk tracks, and training that makes AEs and future SEs better.
  • Write the Solutions Engineering playbook for the GTM Engineering practice.

What they require

  • 5+ years in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or a comparable pre-sales technical role at a B2B software or infrastructure company.
  • Builder mindset; able to scope what matters, stand up a demo or proof-of-value independently, and ship it.
  • Deeply technical and credible with CIOs, Heads of IT, and security leaders.
  • Able to hold your own in an architecture review, debug an integration live, and answer security questions without relying on slides.
  • AI-fluent; understands how LLMs, agentic workflows, and multi-modal AI systems work in enterprise contexts.
  • Able to explain the difference between a deterministic script and a reasoning agent and why that matters for a security review.
  • Trusted advisor who listens for the real problem and proves value in the sales cycle rather than pitching features.
  • Comfortable in ambiguity; owns work end-to-end and moves without waiting to be told what to build next.
  • Excellent communicator who can translate complex multi-agent workflows into clear business value for a CFO and switch to technical depth for an engineering reviewer.
  • Writes clearly and presents persuasively.
  • Preferred: Programming fluency enough to wire APIs, build a quick demo, or debug a prototype.
  • Preferred: Experience with enterprise security, compliance, and procurement processes.
  • Preferred: Prior founding or early-stage SE experience; has been the first SE before.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with the modern IT stack: IdPs, SCIM, ITSM, CRM, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise SaaS administration.
  • Preferred: GTM Engineering or Forward Deployed Engineering exposure; understands the builder/seller hybrid model.

Benefits

  • Remote-friendly across the US.
  • Preference for NYC and Palo Alto.
  • Everyone outside Palo Alto is currently remote.
  • Flat org with no layers between the role and the decision-maker.
