What you'll do

  • Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images, helping customers build securely with open source software across their organization.
  • Partner with the account team to understand customer goals, pain points, and proposed solutions, driving account strategies, value realization, and retention.
  • Act as customer zero by testing, documenting, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience while maintaining quality standards for Chainguard images.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface customer requirements and help prioritize solutions.
  • Maintain account-level architecture documentation and share best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
  • Collaborate, teach, and keep learning alongside the Chainguard team.

What they require

  • 4+ years of experience developing high-performance, multi-tier applications with strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes and containers.
  • 2+ years in a pre- or post-sales customer-facing role.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for a range of audiences, from engineers to executives.
  • A continuous learner with a strong drive for excellence and a passion for solving complex problems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong working knowledge of software development processes, practices, and engineering design concepts.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering teams and business partners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
