What your role includes? SailPoint is seeking a Solution Engineering Manager to support our solution engineering team in Germany. You will play a critical role in growing SailPoint’s business by building and leading a high performing team of Solution Engineers. Our Solution Engineers play a vital role in demonstrating and communicating the value of SailPoint’s products and thought leadership to our prospective customers in the Identity Governance market. Key Responsibilities: Hire, coach, and drive an outstanding Solution Engineering team to deliver against assigned goals Manage individual and team performance ensuring that we are taking the necessary actions to maintain high levels of performance Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong management consulting skills to influence thinking or gain acceptance of multiple customer constituencies Work to improve the SailPoint sales methodology and processes effectively, including development of product presentations and demonstrations tailored to our partners requirements and tuned to suit the level and nature of the audience Assess gaps in evolving training needs and then create and implement programs to improve sales, product and technology skills of the Sales Engineering team Work with Regional Sales directors on account planning, strategy, and sales call activity Provide timely and insightful input back to other corporate functions, particularly field sales, product management and marketing Manage relationships with product teams & decision makers both internally and externally You’ll also have time to develop your skills, and attend internal training sessions, along with supporting the wider SEs and leadership team with any questions or advice. What we are looking for: Strong understanding of SaaS solutions, and how they operate. Strong understanding or experience in Identity and key identity principles. You have an understanding or experience with AI-driven solutions. Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to a technical and business audiences. Previous experience, 5+ years as a sales engineering manager and 5+ years as a sales engineer. Your written and communication skills are excellent. Preferred education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science or global equivalent experience. Path to Success: Every new SE manager receives a tailored on-boarding plan aligned to their skills and experience. SailPoint maintains salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. The base salary for this role will be in this range from (min-max, LOCAL CURRENCY): €78,470 - €132,242.60 Additional offerings include a variety of benefits, including health, retirement, EAP, leave support, paid time off, and company-paid holidays.
