Dune is hiring a Software Engineer focused on their Data Platform to help scale their multi-chain analytics infrastructure for massive volumes of public blockchain data.
π Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop distributed systems and take part in high-impact architectural decisions
- Tackle challenges in large-scale databases, SQL processing, data modelling, and systems performance
- Own components such as blockchain data ingestion and decoding
- Write performant code primarily in Kotlin (with Java, Rust, Go)
- Improve deployment pipelines and operational readiness of systems
π Requirements:
- Strong computer science fundamentals and generalist engineering mindset
- Understanding of (or drive to learn) distributed system design
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and RPC interactions
- Coding experience in a JVM language with focus on well-designed, testable software
- Great collaboration and communication skills
