The Role

As a Software Engineer on the Cash Advance team, your work will directly impact how people access, move, and manage their money through innovative cash advance solutions. You will:

• Design and deliver new features that scale with our growing customer base and help ensure a seamless mobile experience for cash advances.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to ship high-quality code. We enjoy partnering on tough problems unique to cash advance products.
• Create and maintain clear documentation — a must-have for a growing, remote organization.
• Tackle complex challenges at scale, including sensitive financial data, real-time advances, and compliance requirements.

You Bring

• 4+ years of professional experience shipping and scaling user-facing applications or backend services.
• Experience working on mobile or user-facing applications — ideally with React Native or similar frameworks.
• Passion for your craft and care for the people you work with — you value quality across code, communication, and culture.
• Drive and proactivity - everyone here is a builder and executor.

Tools We Use

We use Node and TypeScript on the server, leveraging the NestJS framework within a microservice-oriented architecture running on Kubernetes and AWS. On the client side, we build and ship product features for iOS, Android, and web platforms using React Native. We also embrace AI-assisted development, so engineers have their choice of Claude Code or Cursor to fit their workflow. While you don't need experience with our exact stack, familiarity with modern software engineering practices will help you ramp up quickly.
