What you'll do

  • Define system architecture, including functional and interface design, ensuring smooth integration with external systems.
  • Lead technical direction as Software Architect and Development Lead, including task coordination and distribution within the team.
  • Manage and mentor a distributed development team, ensuring productivity and technical growth.
  • Contribute to technical and business requirements analysis, translating needs into scalable solutions.
  • Develop and maintain backend services and frontend components in line with established coding standards and guidelines.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure code aligned with client expectations.
  • Oversee implementation guidelines and ensure consistency across the codebase.
  • Act as a technical advisor to the client within an Agile Scrum environment.
  • Participate in client workshops, Scrum ceremonies, and regular project meetings.
  • Support recruitment efforts, including conducting technical interviews.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across microservices architecture and cloud environments.

What they require

  • Proven experience in a Software Architect, Tech Lead, or Senior Developer role with team leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and RESTful APIs (OpenAPI standards).
  • Solid backend experience with Java (Quarkus preferred) and event-driven systems (Kafka).
  • Experience working with Kubernetes and container orchestration in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (e.g., Secrets Manager, ECR, S3, PostgreSQL, CloudWatch).
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code and deployment tools (Terraform, Helm Charts, ArgoCD).
  • Frontend development experience with Angular and TypeScript, including state management and service architecture.
  • Experience with design systems (preferably enterprise-level).
  • Strong understanding of test automation tools and practices (Playwright, Cucumber, Jira/XRay).
  • Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and container-based deployments.
  • Proficiency with modern development tools and package managers (npm, Maven).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with direct client interaction.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, delegate tasks, and drive technical initiatives.
  • Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to balance hands-on development with leadership responsibilities.
  • Confident in client-facing situations, including consulting and advisory roles.
  • Excellent collaboration skills in distributed/international teams.
