What you'll do

  • Maintain a consistent cadence of high-quality, locally relevant content.
  • Grow awareness, reach and engagement among VALD’s key audiences.
  • Build active and meaningful engagement with our European communities.
  • Uphold and reinforce VALD’s global brand, style and voice in the European market.
  • Empower local BDMs to confidently create and share effective social content.
  • Identify and amplify regional customer stories, events and opportunities.
  • Use performance insights to continuously improve content and channel effectiveness.

What they require

  • 2–5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, content marketing, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience managing professional or brand social media accounts.
  • Strong written English and the ability to turn technical or complex topics into clear, engaging social content.
  • A good understanding of major social platforms, particularly Instagram, LinkedIn and Facebook.
  • Experience creating, coordinating and scheduling social content across multiple channels.
  • Strong community management skills and an understanding of how brands can participate authentically in professional online communities.
  • Confidence working with stakeholders across different teams, markets and levels of seniority.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple content streams and priorities.
  • An analytical mindset, with an understanding of social media reporting and performance metrics.
  • A proactive approach and an ability to identify stories and content opportunities rather than simply waiting for a brief.
