Our client is a growing Australian e-commerce brand in the home and lifestyle space, offering thoughtfully designed products that combine functionality, modern aesthetics, and practical everyday use.
The business sells across Australia, Canada, and the United States, primarily through Amazon, with an expanding Shopify presence. As the company continues to grow, the Founder is looking to strengthen the brand's creative and digital presence by bringing in someone who can take increasing ownership of social media, UGC coordination, e-commerce creative assets and digital content production.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a versatile and creative Social Media & Digital Content Specialist to support the brand across e-commerce content, social media, UGC coordination, and digital design.
This is a broad, hands-on role ideal for someone who can create and improve visual content across multiple channels—from Amazon listing images and Shopify assets to social media posts, short-form videos, and ad creatives.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder and take increasing ownership of content creation and execution across the brand’s digital channels.
This is a 100% remote position.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- E-commerce Creative Content: Create and improve visual assets for Amazon and Shopify, including listing images, banners, and product page content
- Social Media Content Creation: Develop static and short-form video content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other relevant platforms, aligned with the brand’s content calendar and marketing priorities.
- Social Media Scheduling & Publishing: Manage the content calendar and schedule/publish content consistently across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other relevant channels, ensuring content goes live according to the agreed cadence.
- UGC Creator Coordination: Source and coordinate UGC creators and support creative briefs, scripts, and content concepts
- Graphic Design & Image Editing: Use Canva, Photoshop, and similar tools to create and edit digital assets
- Short-Form Video Editing: Produce simple videos for organic social media and paid advertising
- Shopify & Website Creative Support: Update and improve website visuals, product pages, and other creative assets
- Paid Social Creative Support: Assist in creating Meta and other social advertising creatives.
- AI & Creative Workflow Optimization: Use AI tools for ideation, image editing, research, and creative production
- Creative Ownership: Proactively identify opportunities to improve brand presentation, engagement, and conversion
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
Must-Have
- Proven experience in digital content creation, graphic design, or e-commerce creative production.
- Strong hands-on experience creating content using Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite.
- Experience designing e-commerce assets, ideally for Amazon, Shopify, or another product-based online business
- Experience creating content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and/or YouTube.
- Ability to create and edit static graphics and basic short-form video content.
- Experience managing social media content calendars and scheduling/publishing content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and/or YouTube
- Comfortable using AI tools for content ideation, image editing, research, and creative workflow improvements
- Experience or understanding of Meta Ads and creating ad creatives
- Proficiency with Excel and/or Google Sheets
Nice-to-Have
- Experience creating Amazon listing images, A+ Content, or storefront assets.
- Experience with Shopify content and product page updates.
- Experience coordinating UGC creators or influencers.
- Experience developing UGC scripts, creative briefs, or ad concepts.
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Knowledge of conversion rate optimization and e-commerce creative best practices.
- Experience with short-form video editing software such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or similar, with the ability to create engaging Reels, TikToks and Meta ad creatives
- Experience with advanced motion graphics/effects software such as After Effects
