Title: CPT-11406 Social Media Content & Marketing Assistant

Independent Contractor – CPT-11406 Social Media Content & Marketing Assistant/Marketing VA/Entry-Senior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. A growing digital marketing agency is seeking a part-time Social Media Content & Marketing Assistant to support the execution of recurring social media deliverables for select agency clients and the agency's own brand. The primary focus of this role is execution rather than high-level marketing strategy. The VA will work from established branding, templates, client direction, and existing content processes to create Canva-based social graphics, prepare social media content, and assist with scheduling. The ideal candidate has practical social media experience, a good visual eye, strong Canva skills, and the ability to efficiently produce consistent content within established brand guidelines.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Social Media Content Creation

• Create social media graphics using established Canva templates
• Adapt existing templates with new imagery, copy, and client-specific information
• Produce recurring content for designated agency clients and the agency's own brand
• Maintain consistency with existing branding and previous content
• Organize completed creative assets for review and scheduling

Content Production

• Work from content direction provided by the owner and clients
• Assist with preparing recurring monthly social media deliverables
• Repurpose approved information into appropriate social formats
• Make requested edits and revisions efficiently
• Support higher-volume client content requirements as assigned

Social Media Scheduling

• Upload and schedule approved content through designated scheduling platforms
• Maintain accurate posting schedules
• Verify content is properly formatted before scheduling
• Confirm scheduled posts are ready for publication
• Assist with maintaining content calendars

Additional Marketing Support

• Make occasional basic website content edits as trained
• Assist with recurring digital marketing execution tasks
• Learn and utilize Vendasta's marketing and AI tools as needed
• Support additional content and marketing projects as the role develops

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

• Previous social media content creation experience required
• Canva experience required
• Experience creating branded social graphics required
• Social media scheduling experience preferred
• Strong written English communication
• Experience supporting multiple brands or clients preferred
• Digital marketing agency experience preferred
• Basic website editing experience is a plus
• Portfolio of relevant social media work preferred

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Creative with a strong eye for clean social media design
• Highly proficient with Canva
• Comfortable working from existing templates rather than redesigning brands from scratch
• Organized and able to manage recurring content deadlines
• Familiar with social media scheduling workflows
• Able to take direction and execute consistently
• Comfortable learning new marketing and AI-enabled platforms
• Efficient when producing multiple pieces of content at scale

Work Schedule

• Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday (unless otherwise mutually agreed in writing)
• Daily Working Time: Flexible within 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

• Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
• This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
• All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
