What you'll do

  • Support the overarching social media content strategy for the Party at the Polls program, including drafting graphic copy, captions, video content, partner toolkits, and more.
  • Compile and analyze content performance metrics related to Party at the Polls to help inform strategy.
  • Track and report on partners’ social media content, engagement, and incoming requests or questions for our team.
  • Stay up-to-date with current social media trends, pitching content ideas that resonate with our target audience of young, Black and Brown voters.
  • Other reasonable and related duties as assigned.

What they require

  • A recent college graduate or currently enrolled in college or university.
  • 1+ year of experience developing content for a club, organization, or brand’s social accounts — especially on video-centered platforms like IG Reels, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Preferred: Experience growing and maintaining an online community.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about civic engagement, social justice, and the role of social media in each of those spaces.
  • Exceptional copywriting and editing skills
  • Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Creative as well as organized and analytical.
  • Interest in current social media and pop culture trends
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Enthusiasm for working with diverse communities and individuals with varying perspectives
  • Deep dedication to civic engagement, issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion

When We All Vote is a national, nonpartisan initiative on a mission to increase participation in every election, close the race and age voting gaps, and change the culture around voting. Founded in 2018, When We All Vote works at the intersection of voting and culture to meet communities where they are to turn civic engagement into an everyday norm.
