Technical product marketing intern/manager role for someone with 4+ years in technical product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, developer relations, or similar. Must understand modern software development and DevSecOps, write technical content, execute launches, and communicate technical value to defense/national security audiences. Remote USA only with 35%–45% travel.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute end-to-end go-to-market strategies for new products and features
  • Define target audiences, positioning, messaging, and product narratives
  • Support product naming, launch planning, adoption, and post-launch optimization
  • Establish the go-to-market foundation for products entering new or undefined markets
  • Establish deep technical expertise across the Defense Unicorns product portfolio
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and differentiated customer value
  • Create solution briefs, white papers, technical blogs, and web content
  • Develop presentations, launch materials, videos, demos, and use-case narratives
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to develop repeatable technical demonstrations
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis
  • Translate market intelligence into positioning, messaging, and go-to-market recommendations
  • Use qualitative and quantitative insights to improve marketing execution
  • Serve as a product evangelist for Defense Unicorns products and philosophies
  • Communicate the value of Defense Unicorns capabilities within the defense industry
  • Provide recommendations that improve products, services, and market adoption
  • Operate effectively amid ambiguity and establish structure for new market offerings

What they require

  • Approximately 35%–45% travel may be required to engage with customers, communities, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • 4+ years of experience in technical product marketing, product management, solutions engineering, developer relations, or a related function
  • Experience executing go-to-market programs for technical products, platforms, or capabilities
  • Experience supporting or owning product or feature launches
  • Experience developing product positioning, messaging, technical content, or sales enablement materials
  • Strong understanding of modern software development and DevSecOps concepts
  • Ability to quickly learn complex technical products and communicate their value to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong technical and creative writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
  • Experience collaborating across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, or Growth teams
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to operate effectively with some ambiguity while seeking context and alignment when needed
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively in a remote work environment
  • Preferred: Experience working with defense, national security, federal government, or other highly regulated customers
