Shared living provider in Maine to support an adult with intellectual/developmental disabilities by opening your home. Requires high school diploma, age 21+, clean driving record and license; experience not required, training provided.

What you'll do

  • Share your home and help an adult with a developmental disability to live in a family setting.
  • Support individuals with education, employment, recreation, family inclusion, health/mental health, and independent living skills.
  • Serve as a member of the person's team in identifying and achieving their personal life goals.

What they require

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and pass background check(s).
  • Clean driving record, driver's license, and reliable transportation.
  • Experience working with individuals with ID/DD is preferred but not required.
  • DSP and CPR certifications; training will be provided.
