What you'll do

  • Lead the Finance & Operations organization, establishing the systems, operating rhythms, financial discipline, and cross-functional processes that enable the company to scale effectively
  • Lead business operations: company operating cadence, cross-functional coordination, systems and vendor management, and operational reporting
  • Provide executive oversight of the company operating model, aligning annual and quarterly planning, budgets, headcount pacing, infrastructure investments, OKRs, KPI and SaaS-metric reporting, and Board-level financial planning with company strategy
  • Oversee day-to-day legal and governance through outside counsel — corporate and financing matters, customer MSAs, and renewals
  • Partner with the CEO and President to translate long-term strategy into executable operating plans, organizational priorities, and financial investments
  • Champion capital efficiency across the company
  • Oversee state tax, corporate registration, and multistate regulatory compliance
  • Provide executive sponsorship for People Operations
  • Sponsor compliance and information security, including SOC 2 maturity, HIPAA compliance, enterprise risk management, and AI-governance frameworks
  • Lead board and investor operations: meeting materials, reporting cadence, and investor communications infrastructure
  • Own capital strategy and financing, including scenario and dilution modeling, capital allocation, runway planning, and the annual 409A valuation cycle
  • Prepare the company for corporate development: M&A readiness, diligence infrastructure, data-room discipline, and an enterprise-valuation perspective

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree required plus a minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience; Master's degree or relevant professional certification preferred
  • 12+ years of progressive experience spanning business operations, strategic planning, finance, and executive leadership, including experience in a senior role such as COO, VP of Finance, CFO, or equivalent within a scaling technology company
  • Track record of building or maturing finance and operations functions within a Series A–B or similarly scaled organization
  • Experience building scalable operating systems, cross-functional planning processes, and executive operating cadences in a high-growth environment
  • Experience managing legal matters through outside counsel, with strong working knowledge of commercial contracting
  • Fluency in SaaS growth metrics, including ARR, net revenue retention, CAC/LTV, and burn multiple, with experience producing Board-level financial reporting
  • Direct experience leading or supporting venture financings, including convertible instruments and priced equity rounds, with responsibility for modeling, negotiation support, and investor relations
  • Demonstrated commitment to capital efficiency, with a track record of scaling a company responsibly
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across finance, operations, people, legal, and technology functions
