Senior Test Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Test Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert remotely (within EU) . In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team. Tasks: Define the scope of testing within the context of each product and release by collaborating with Test Engineers, defining test approaches and reviewing and writing test scenarios; Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools; Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases; Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome; Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach; Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution. Requirements University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 7 years; Hands on experience in creating efficient test approaches, test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution; Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools; Experience using DBs and SQL, containerized solutions and observability tools; Experience in writing and editing automated tests; Experience with system integration testing; Excellent knowledge of testing standards, methods; Defect Management including prioritization of defects and root cause analysis; Experience in complex, enterprise system integration; End User (UAT) management; Experience with Test and Defect Management tools; Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies; Ability to understand business context, define priorities, communicate with technology focused teams and communicate the outcome of test campaigns; Excellent command of the English language.
