What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary technical owner for assigned strategic customer implementations, leading interoperability planning and technical execution from planning through successful delivery.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility, analyze solution tradeoffs, and recommend technical approaches aligned with customer requirements and platform capabilities.
  • Evaluate interoperability requirements within the broader customer technology ecosystem, identifying system boundaries, systems of record, integration and orchestration responsibilities, and dependencies requiring customer or ecosystem-level governance decisions.
  • Participate in technical discovery sessions, interoperability workshops, and implementation planning with customer technical leaders, implementation partners, technology vendors, and internal cross-functional teams, providing technical leadership and interoperability expertise.
  • Analyze and interpret technical artifacts, including API specifications, FHIR Implementation Guides, engineering documentation, authentication workflows, application logs, JSON payloads, customer data structures, integration workflows, and system interactions to develop technical recommendations, troubleshoot interoperability challenges, and guide implementation decisions.

What they require

  • 5+ years of experience leading customer-facing technical implementations, enterprise integrations, interoperability initiatives, or technical solution delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience serving as the primary technical owner for enterprise interoperability implementations, exercising sound technical judgment, evaluating technical approaches, navigating technical tradeoffs, and driving successful customer delivery.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise integration technologies and interoperability standards, including REST APIs, HL7 FHIR, SMART on FHIR, US Core, FHIR Implementation Guides, HL7v2, identity and authentication protocols, enterprise integration patterns, and healthcare data exchange.
  • Ability to interpret engineering documentation, API specifications, FHIR resources, authentication workflows, application logs, JSON payloads, customer data structures, and technical architecture artifacts to develop recommendations and communicate technical concepts to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
