What you'll do

  • Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.
  • Support Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware environments.
  • Diagnose issues with Dell and Supermicro servers.
  • Resolve customer incidents involving VPS, dedicated servers, virtualisation, and connectivity.
  • Maintain Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, backups, and monitoring.
  • Support data centre infrastructure, storage, and networking.
  • Participate in upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and follow change-management procedures.

What they require

  • 7+ years of systems, infrastructure, or data-centre experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with: Windows Server and Linux; Hyper-V and VMware; Dell and/or Supermicro servers; Server and virtualisation troubleshooting.
  • Strong customer-facing experience in technical support or infrastructure operations, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Experience in data centres, hosting, managed services, or another 24/7 infrastructure environment.
  • Good understanding of networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Strong spoken and written English.
  • Reliable, organised, and comfortable taking ownership of issues through resolution.
  • The role requires approximately 10–15 hours per week, with availability during 10:00–18:00 CET as needed. The schedule is flexible, but the ability to respond and support the team within these hours is important.
  • Rotating on-call coverage by agreement.
