What you'll do

  • Serve as the lead strategic partner for a portfolio of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare clients.
  • Develop annual strategic plans.
  • Guide integrated programs.
  • Ensure all work aligns with client business objectives while being executed on time and within budget.
  • Oversee day-to-day client relationships.
  • Lead internal account teams.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development support to Strategic Account Directors, Strategic Account Managers, and Strategic Account Associates.
  • Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts.
  • Participate in new business initiatives and pitches.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximize value for both clients and Precision AQ.
  • Partner with clients, lead cross-functional teams, and help shape the direction and success of prominent healthcare and life sciences brands.
  • Influence client strategy.
  • Cultivate new business opportunities.
  • Play a key role in developing the next generation of account talent.

What they require

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare marketing, medical affairs, or medical communications agency environments.
  • Demonstrated success managing and growing pharmaceutical or healthcare accounts with annual revenues exceeding $2.5 million.
  • Proven experience serving as a strategic and business advisor to senior marketing, commercial, or medical affairs stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership experience overseeing, mentoring, and developing account management professionals.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecast revenue, and contribute to business profitability.
  • Strategic thinker who can quickly understand a client’s business challenges and translate them into actionable plans and measurable results.
  • Trusted advisor who builds strong, lasting relationships with clients and consistently earns a seat at the decision-making table.
  • Natural leader who enjoys coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing account teams.
  • Financially savvy and understand how to drive revenue growth while ensuring strong budget management and profitability.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and energized by identifying new opportunities to expand client partnerships and grow business.
  • Excel in fast-paced environments and can confidently manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Preferred: Advanced degree (PhD, MD, PharmD, MBA, or related graduate degree) preferred.
  • Preferred: Experience supporting or leading new business development efforts, including pitches and proposal development.
  • Preferred: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and biotech medical communications strategies and commercial planning.
  • Preferred: Advanced presentation development and PowerPoint design capabilities.
