What you'll do

  • Own messaging, positioning, and launch strategy for Enterprise Password Manager
  • Define how 1Password talks about credentials security for employees, service accounts, and AI agents
  • Communicate product narrative to analysts, IT buyers, security leaders, sellers, practitioners, and executives
  • Connect Enterprise Password Manager story to the Unified Access platform narrative
  • Own positioning and market leadership claims for Enterprise Password Manager
  • Partner with Solutions Marketing on competitive differentiation
  • Track credentials security market movement and keep messaging ahead of it
  • Produce discovery decks, battlecards, objection-handling guides, and technical briefs
  • Translate complex concepts like passkeys, machine credential lifecycle, AI agent authentication, and zero-knowledge architecture into customer-facing messaging
  • Turn field win/loss signals into repeatable go-to-market motions
  • Bring customer evidence, analyst intelligence, competitive signals, and field feedback to Product
  • Make the market case early before product decisions are locked

What they require

  • 7+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing
  • Direct experience in password management, enterprise vaulting, credentials security, or identity security
  • Working knowledge of broad cybersecurity concepts
  • Experience repositioning a mature enterprise product
  • Ability to market to enterprise IT and security buyers including admins, CISOs, and security engineers
  • Track record of winning in competitive markets by displacing incumbents
  • Understanding of credentials beyond passwords including API keys, certificates, machine secrets, passkeys, and credentials for AI agents
  • Working knowledge of enterprise IT and where password management fits in the IAM stack
  • Uses AI to improve speed while retaining strategic judgment and ownership
  • Ability to defend recommendations and explain thinking behind content
  • Ability to write for multiple audiences without diluting the message
  • Strong narrative instincts
  • Experience shaping category narratives
  • Preferred: experience developing thought leadership in a fast-moving category
  • Preferred: experience repositioning an established product category
  • Must be ready and willing to travel for in-person engagement such as offsites, team meetings, and customer or industry events
