No BS summary

Senior Staff-level engineering IC to lead and apply agentic/AI-native engineering across platform and cross-team systems. Must have 10+ years backend/architecture experience, hands-on with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform), and daily use of coding agents (Claude Code/Codex/etc.). What you'll do

  • Deliver cross-cutting engineering work — platform components, refactors, integrations, and high-leverage features using coding agents and agentic engineering practices.
  • Define and codify agentic engineering standards: spec-driven workflows, agent steering documents, custom Skills, MCP server patterns, subagent orchestration, and context engineering.
  • Package reusable skills, plugins, templates, and internal documentation for adoption across engineering teams.
  • Drive architectural decisions spanning Engineering, Data, and Infrastructure; lead ARB-level reviews.
  • Build internal agents, MCP integrations, and RAG-backed applications with appropriate evaluation and guardrails.
  • Partner with engineering leaders and product partners to shape initiative scoping, sequencing, and tradeoffs.
  • Mentor senior and staff-level engineers through pairing sessions, design reviews, and brown-bags.
  • Operate as a healthcare-aware engineer respecting PHI handling, BAA requirements, audit trails, clinical safety, and regulated change management.

What they require

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time at Senior, Staff, or Principal IC levels.
  • Deep systems design and architecture expertise including distributed systems, API design, event-driven patterns, data flow, observability, and security.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one of .NET, Python, or TypeScript and working fluency in the others.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP); containers and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE) or comparable orchestrators; infrastructure-as-code (Terraform); CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or comparable); and modern observability tooling.
  • Daily-driver fluency with agentic engineering tooling and routine use of a major coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or comparable).
  • Working knowledge of MCP — consuming and authoring servers — and how Skills, slash commands, and agent steering documents form a context-engineering toolkit.
  • Disciplined experience with spec-driven development applied to production work.
  • Practical exposure to at least one agent development SDK or framework (OpenAI Agent SDK, LangGraph, or comparable).
  • Working knowledge of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns and tradeoffs.
  • Demonstrated technical influence beyond individual contributions (patterns, libraries, frameworks, tooling, documentation, or mentorship).
  • Strong written and verbal communication to explain tradeoffs to executives, clinicians, and engineers.

Benefits

  • Great Place to Work® certification mentioned (company culture emphasis).
  • Standard company benefits implied (posting references careers page)
