What you'll do

  • Deliver enterprise-class solutions and services to customers and partners worldwide.
  • Navigate customers through the initial onboarding steps into WEKA.
  • Plan and install WEKA products.
  • Define, develop, and test automation to make deployment fast, predictable, scalable, and easy for customers and partners.
  • Focus on customers throughout EMEA.
  • Work with WEKA Sales, Pre-Sales, Engineering, Product Management, other internal groups, customers, and partners worldwide.
  • Implement AI, HPC, and other state-of-the-art WEKA environments, both on-prem or public cloud.
  • Assist customers in achieving their objectives through structured and unstructured tasks.
  • Own the experience from the sale of the WEKA product to full production deployment, ensuring a positive customer onboarding experience.
  • Manage the project of installing the WEKA product, including risk assessment, planning, deployment scheduling, and status reporting to customers and partners.
  • Document solution details, including diagrams and specifications, translating undefined requirements into end-to-end solutions.
  • Use open-source technologies and tools to accomplish specific project use cases.
  • Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve problems with custom workflows.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to scope the most effective way to tackle complex technological infrastructure challenges.
  • Perform incremental testing on code, processes, and deployments to streamline execution and minimize human errors.
  • Deploy and manage AI/HPC infrastructure in Linux-based environments for new and existing customers.
  • Provide ad-hoc knowledge transfers, develop handover materials, and guide customers during deployments.

What they require

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong focus on customer experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, including excellent documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations within Enterprise environments, focusing on mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Experience with automation tools/cluster management such as Ansible, Salt, Puppet, Bright, Jenkins, or xcat.
  • Knowledge and experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.
  • Experience with Source Code Control Systems like GitHub and git.
  • Experience with Ethernet or InfiniBand networking, particularly 100+Gb networks.
  • Experience with performance monitoring/tuning Linux systems.
  • Experience with HPC environments, including knowledge of HPC cluster management tools.
  • Experience with Parallel Filesystems (Lustre, GPFS/SpectrumScale, DDN).
  • Familiar with SDS (Software-Defined Storage).
  • Hands-on administration/operation knowledge of Kubernetes / Containerized Workloads.
  • Hands-on experience in Linux Systems Administration.
  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent working experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for technical presentations, architectural designs, and being a trusted advisor to customers (experience in sales, consulting, or Customer Success).
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
