MLabs is seeking a Senior Solana Engineer to architect and develop high-performance Solana programs.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Architect and build high-performance Solana programs in Rust using Anchor and/or native frameworks
- Maintain and extend the core stablecoin issuance infrastructure with heavy use of Token-2022 extensions
- Optimize smart contracts for compute unit efficiency, account sizing, and transaction packing
- Participate in code and design reviews to preserve architectural quality
- Prepare codebases for third-party security audits with extensive test suites, invariants, and fuzz harnesses
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cross-chain and DeFi infrastructure
🔑 Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years writing production-grade Rust code
- Proven experience deploying and maintaining complex Solana programs in production
- Deep knowledge of Solana account model, rent, transaction limits, versioned transactions, and address lookup tables
- Strong familiarity with SPL Token, Token-2022, and Associated Token Accounts
- Experience with cross-chain messaging protocols (Wormhole NTT, LayerZero, Hyperlane, or Chainlink CCIP)
- Basic familiarity with Solidity and EVM
