What you'll do

  • Help lay the foundations for a new product built from scratch.
  • Define the architecture and ship the product in a small squad.
  • Link real-time CTI feeds to a company's internal assets and security controls.
  • Fold in real exposure results to tell proven defenses apart from assumed ones.
  • Calculate financial risk on the fly as the threat landscape shifts.
  • Build the OpenGRC engines for correlation, verification, and quantification.
  • Own the stack end to end: a scalable single-page app running as SaaS and on-prem with React, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL.
  • Prototype to test ideas and refactor as product feedback changes the vision.
  • Shape the product where engineering meets product.
  • Align on technical standards and integrate with the wider ecosystem including OpenCTI, OpenAEV, and XTMOne.

  • Full-stack engineer with deep expertise who can carry a feature from data model to UI with type safety throughout.
  • Sets a high bar for readability, maintainability, and quality in code and tests.
  • Comfortable modeling dense, unmapped domains with dozens of objects to model, link, reconcile, and aggregate for real-time risk calculation without a predefined schema or existing solution.
  • Technical leader and mentor who makes other engineers better, guides architectural decisions, explains reasoning clearly, and grows others' autonomy.
  • Owns topics end to end, including problems beyond immediate scope.
  • Identifies technical risks that could affect the whole company and addresses them early.
  • Pragmatic and opinionated, balancing craft, speed, and long-term maintainability.
  • Challenges existing approaches and backs the case with data when possible.
  • Product sense and ability to think about the CISO user and shape product direction where it meets engineering work.
  • Curious and willing to adopt AI tools to work smarter and deliver better results.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Preferred: Background in GRC, cybersecurity, or risk quantification.
  • Preferred: Active in open-source communities and comfortable reviewing and streamlining community PRs.
