Gearlay Technologies Inc. is seeking a Senior+ Software Engineer (Backend) to design, develop, and maintain scalable high-performance backend systems for blockchain-based financial platforms. The role focuses on blockchain trading platforms, smart contracts, and Web3 integrations.
📋 Responsibilities include:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems for blockchain trading platforms
- Utilize MongoDB and Redis for data storage and retrieval within trading algorithms
- Implement smart contracts and Web3 integration for blockchain interactions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solutions integrating various blockchain platforms
- Optimize existing trading algorithms and strategies for improved performance
🔑 Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in backend development
- Expertise in Docker, AWS, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Solidity, Web3, Node.js, and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and protocols
- Experience developing and deploying trading platforms or financial systems in blockchain/crypto
- Knowledge of database management, data structures, and algorithms
- Experience designing and building microservices architectures
- Familiarity with security protocols in blockchain and financial systems
