What you'll do

  • Own development of Thyme Box, the proprietary internal care management platform used by 600+ Care Team members
  • Independently plan, build, and deliver multiple features within Thyme Box, from concept through launch and iteration
  • Partner closely with Product to scope experiments and shape new product ideas
  • Work closely with oncology leaders to solve evolving business problems through technical solutions
  • Build technology that enables the oncology care team to surface ancillary benefit programs and services
  • Help create an intuitive user interface for triaging patient touch points, from hospitalizations to changes in chemotherapy
  • Surface data from multiple sources, including user inputs, to keep the care team up-to-date on patients
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and technical excellence

What they require

  • 5+ years of experience building, shipping, and supporting software in production
  • Experience in fast-paced, early-stage environments
  • Strong experience with web development — built single-page applications in stacks similar to Vue.js/TypeScript, FastAPI/Python, and Postgres
  • Ownership of features from idea to production, including design, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvements
  • Collaboration with engineers, product, and cross-functional partners; clear communication of technical tradeoffs
  • Comfort with ambiguity and fast-evolving priorities
  • Curiosity and drive to learn and share knowledge
  • People-first mindset — empathetic, collaborative, values feedback
  • Net-new development — built and deployed web applications from the ground up; can deploy and operate services in a Cloud environment (AWS) with understanding of networking
  • Engineering fundamentals — unit tests, code reviews, design documentation; experience with user interface design
  • Nice to have: prior experience in healthcare or health tech
