What you'll do

  • Help build test automation from the ground up.
  • Design the automation framework.
  • Write the automated tests that give the team confidence to ship.
  • Bring modern AI-assisted tooling into how the team works.
  • Work hands-on in a high-ownership role focused on quality.
  • Set testing patterns that will shape how the organization tests.
  • Work closely with the QA Engineering Manager and developers across product squads.
  • Put an automation framework in place within the first 90 days.
  • Create a proof-of-concept suite running in CI on the highest-risk flows within the first 90 days.
  • Build meaningful automated coverage of critical user journeys by six months.
  • Maintain a low flaky-test rate and faster feedback on every change.
  • Maintain a trusted, maintainable automated test suite.
  • Apply AI tooling where it genuinely saves time.
  • Enable other engineers to pick up the testing patterns you set.

  • Ability to be one of the first engineers on a new team and shape testing patterns across the organization.
