What you'll do

  • Overseeing the successful execution of projects, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and mitigating risks to ensure smooth execution or projects.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Ensure that all activities are aligned with the overall strategy.
  • Facilitate and/or assist in the generation and presentation of monthly reports or dashboards for medical affairs segments and/or workstreams.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders.
  • Communicate project progress, issues, and solutions effectively.
  • Identify and request necessary resources, including personnel, technology, and financial assets, to ensure project success.
  • Identify potential risks associated with project activities and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring that expenditure aligns with the financial goals of the projects.
  • Assist in financial management/update activities in partnership with senior management and Client's PMs.
  • Lead operational aspects of medical affairs work stream projects across cross-functional teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve project objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts as they arise.
  • Establish KPIs and track the performance of medical affairs projects and/or workstreams, making adjustments as necessary to stay on target.
  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions for all stakeholders involved in the project.
  • Support client PM in monitoring and supporting strategic plan KPIs / milestones.
  • Provides therapeutic area knowledge support and clarification of science as needed.
  • Conducts and evaluates literature searches and analyze scientific literature as needed.
  • Ad hoc support as per client’s requirements.

What they require

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field, or MD, PharmD, PhD, RPh, or equivalent life science degree.
  • Experience: Industry experiences desired.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Key Competencies: Strategic thinking with the ability to manage complex projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
