What you'll do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable UI and API automated test suites .
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright .
  • Analyze functional requirements and identify automation opportunities.
  • Develop automated regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end tests .
  • Execute API automation using Postman or similar tools.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and product teams throughout the SDLC .
  • Troubleshoot test failures and improve automation reliability.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines .
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and Agile ceremonies .
  • Continuously improve test coverage, framework maintainability, and execution performance .

What they require

  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation.
  • Experience with Selenium and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong experience with TypeScript .
  • Experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks .
  • Strong knowledge of UI and API automation .
  • Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools .
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs ; GraphQL experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines .
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools .
  • Strong knowledge of testing practices, including Regression, Functional, End-to-End, and Smoke Testing .
  • Experience with Test Planning and BDD/TDD practices .
  • Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum and Kanban .
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
