What you'll do

  • Translate strategy into features: Identify user problems, evaluate market and competitor trends, and develop concrete features from rough goals and product visions – with a feel for what particularly distinguishes mobile products.
  • Write requirements that carry weight: Prepare topics in such a way that designers and developers can start directly – not after asking questions.
  • Think User Journeys, not just User Stories: Sketch concepts, discard ideas, develop them further – and find the best way for our users.
  • Coach and empower: Work closely with our Product Managers, provide technical feedback, and help them grow in their roles.
  • Work at the interface: In close exchange with project management, UX, development, sales, and other stakeholders, ensure that ideas become real features – on time and in high quality.
  • Make success measurable: Define success metrics together with the teams, derive priorities from them, and measure the success of new product initiatives.

What they require

  • At least 3 years of experience in product management – ideally with digital products that have high complexity and reach, and experience in the further development of digital products.
  • You have translated strategy into features – not just managed, but actively shaped.
  • You can show which products you have conceptually advanced and accompanied from idea to implementation.
  • You understand what makes mobile products different from web – you don't have to be an app store expert, but you know the differences in UX, architecture, and user behavior.
  • You have a good understanding of product strategy, prioritization, and stakeholder communication and can translate different requirements into clear product decisions.
  • You have a strong affinity for AI and confidently use AI tools to sharpen product ideas, structure requirements, make processes more efficient, and prepare data-based decisions.
  • You write requirements with substance – clear, complete, prioritized.
  • Your User Stories are not placeholders, but a basis for work.
  • You work in a structured and creative way at the same time: You have methods for idea generation and conception – and the discipline to record results.
  • You can coach technically without leading disciplinarily.
  • You give feedback that benefits colleagues.
  • You have very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least C1 level).
  • You can also communicate confidently in English.
  • You get inspired by the football-enthusiast spirit of your team members and ideally bring your own passion for football.
  • Since our office is located in Hamburg, the position is preferably to be filled at our location in Hamburg.
  • At the same time, we offer the possibility to work flexibly in a hybrid model.
