What you'll do

  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for consumer-facing shopping surfaces from app open through order completion.
  • Set and drive the product vision and roadmap across Home Screen, Search, Menu, Swimlanes, Collections, Product Tile & Detail, Cart & Checkout, and Core UI Components.
  • Define a coherent discovery experience across web and mobile that scales with catalog complexity and evolving user needs.
  • Manage a large, diverse surface area with competing priorities without losing coherence or momentum.
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to build, iterate, and launch features that improve how eaters find and choose meals.
  • Own the product layer of CookUnity's server-driven UI system, balancing merchandiser flexibility with eater experience.
  • Drive experimentation across discovery surfaces with rigorous metric frameworks.
  • Partner with Design to create discovery experiences that reduce friction, build confidence, and feel intuitive across every entry point.
  • Own the quality and consistency of core UI components such as loading states, error screens, coachmarks, and modals.
  • Maintain a high bar for mobile and web parity while allowing for platform-native patterns where they matter.
  • Work closely with the Sr. PM, Personalization & AI on decisions at the intersection of surface design and intelligence systems.
  • Translate personalization and AI system capabilities into frontend experiences that make intelligence visible and useful to eaters.
  • Bring a clear point of view to surface-level decisions when upstream inputs are probabilistic, evolving, or contested.
  • Improve conversion across browse surfaces including home, search, swimlanes, collections, and full menu.
  • Reduce checkout abandonment and cart-to-order friction.
  • Lift overall funnel conversion rate and contribution to weekly order frequency and reduction of subscriber churn.

What they require

  • Senior, frontend-first product thinker with deep instincts for consumer UX and a track record of owning high-traffic discovery or browsing surfaces.
  • Comfortable holding a wide, complex surface area, setting coherent strategy across many screens while staying close to details.
  • Strong design partner who can elevate the quality of an experience, not just spec it.
  • Technically grounded enough to work fluently with frontend engineers, understand component architecture, and reason about how system-level decisions affect user experience.
  • Excited by the challenge of making a large, dynamic food catalog simple and delightful to browse.
  • Collaborative and low-ego at the seam between adjacent PM domains, maintaining shared ownership without losing accountability.
  • Rigorous about experimentation and metrics without being paralyzed by them.
  • 8+ years of product management experience, including meaningful ownership of consumer-facing mobile and/or web surfaces at scale.
  • Demonstrated experience with discovery, browsing, search, or shopping experiences, ideally in a marketplace or catalog-heavy product.
  • Strong UX instincts and a proven track record of close collaboration with design teams.
  • Comfortable with frontend product systems such as component libraries, server-driven UI, and feature flags, and able to partner effectively with frontend engineers.
  • Experience running A/B experiments, defining metrics, and making data-informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication; able to influence design, engineering, and business stakeholders across a complex organization.
  • Proven ability to manage a large roadmap across multiple surfaces simultaneously.
