About the role You'll own the Platform vertical for Deel. This covers identity and access management: authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), SSO, compliance, and identity verification. This is foundational infrastructure. Everything Deel does depends on it working. You'll need to be experienced in regulated and technical domains, pragmatic, and comfortable making trade-off decisions under pressure. The context Deel operates across 150+ countries with a complex global workforce. Platform layer sits underneath the entire business. You'll work with Compliance, Legal, IT, Access Management, and Data teams. Each has legitimate needs and priorities. Your job is to navigate those constraints and deliver strategies that work. You'll be designing for sophistication; how identity maps across different work contexts and use cases, how verification and compliance requirements translate into product flows and how to scale authentication and authorization across regions with different regulatory frameworks. What you'll do Define and own the roadmap for identity and access management Work across Compliance, Legal, IT, and Data to translate requirements into product decisions Design identity architecture that handles diverse user types and work contexts Develop identity verification and compliance strategies that scale globally Prioritize and manage competing stakeholder requests Own production stability and incident response for identity and access systems Break down complex technical and regulatory requirements into a shippable roadmap What we're looking for Must have: 5+ years of product experience in identity, security, or platform infrastructure Deep technical fluency in IAM, authentication, authorization, or related systems Strong filter for competing priorities. You can synthesize multiple stakeholder needs and come back with clear direction Comfort with ambiguity and trade-offs. You won't have perfect solutions, but you'll know when good enough is good enough Proven ability to work effectively across technical, compliance, and operational teams Experience shipping infrastructure or platform products at scale Ideal to have: Experience with global regulatory requirements or compliance frameworks Track record managing complex stakeholder dynamics or political situations Familiarity with multi-tenant systems or context-based access patterns Background in HR tech, workforce management, or international business Total Rewards Our workforce deserves fair and competitive pay that meets them where they are. For commercial roles with commission eligibility, this figure represents On-Target Earnings (OTE), inclusive of base salary and target commission. Salary ranges are quoted in USD as a consistent global reference. Your offer will be localized to your country's currency using a market-aligned conversion. Final pay is based on objective, job-related criteria including experience, skills, and location. We don't ask about salary history. Offers are based on the role and what you bring to it.
