Gather and translate reporting requirements from business stakeholders, customers, and internal users into clear specifications. Lead discovery activities with customers, internal users, and domain experts to understand how they consume and act on data today. Design reporting systems and dashboards that let end users self-service their own analytics needs, reducing dependency on ad hoc report requests. Translate validated requirements into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria for Engineering and Data Science partners. Lead release planning and readiness for reporting features, ensuring new reports and self-service capabilities are usable, accurate, and supportable. Facilitate roadmap reviews and prioritization discussions on reporting investments with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders. Represent the reporting product in customer conversations, translating feedback on report usability and gaps into actionable design decisions. Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to estimate reporting initiatives and inform quarterly and annual planning. Monitor report adoption and usage patterns to identify where self-service is falling short and additional design work is needed.
