As Geospatial Platform Product Manager, you will own the geospatial data foundation within the Data Platform Tribe: precise geospatial reference data (e.g. countries, ports), reliable location events (e.g. port calls), and comprehensive physical asset data (e.g. refineries, power plants) that all product lines build upon. You'll define the vision and roadmap for these shared data products, drive alignment across Kpler's many product and engineering teams, support adoption, and ensure they evolve to meet the platform's growing demands. Your decisions will directly shape the quality and consistency of the intelligence Kpler delivers to its clients. This is a high-impact and cross-cutting role, sitting at the intersection of data, product, and engineering, for someone who thrives on building shared platform assets that others depend on.
What you'll do
- Own the geospatial data foundation within the Data Platform Tribe: precise geospatial reference data (e.g. countries, ports).
- Own reliable location events (e.g. port calls) and comprehensive physical asset data (e.g. refineries, power plants).
- Define the vision and roadmap for shared data products.
- Drive alignment across Kpler's product and engineering teams.
- Support adoption of platform data products and ensure they evolve to meet platform demands.
