What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end user experience for one product from strategy through polished, shipped design.
  • Make strategic design decisions grounded in product goals and customer needs and act as the UX decision authority for the product.
  • Collaborate closely with PMs and senior engineers from strategy and discovery through implementation, shipping at a weekly cadence.
  • Partner with PMs to learn from real users, synthesize qualitative and quantitative evidence, and turn learnings into product and design direction.
  • Turn complex product challenges into clear experiences that help users understand what matters and take the next step.
  • Partner with Lead UX Designer to refine design direction and maintain a cohesive, high-quality experience across the product portfolio.
  • Help build a strong design culture by providing feedback, challenging assumptions, and bringing curiosity.

What they require

  • You've designed and shipped live software products, including at least one you owned end to end from concept through launch.
  • Strong judgment and comfort navigating ambiguity; experience owning design for a product or major product area.
  • Ability to connect design decisions to customer needs, product goals, and business outcomes.
  • Strong craft across interaction and visual design with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to explain design decisions, invite feedback early, and build alignment with PMs and engineers.
  • K-12 or education technology experience is a plus (not required).
