Role
We’re looking for a Senior Creative Strategist with performance creative experience to own the creative direction and performance strategy across client accounts.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the creative strategy and messaging across multiple paid social accounts — from brief through execution.
- Conduct performance driven research, and continuously optimize messaging and briefing based on data from the ad platforms & competitor monitoring
- Develop high-converting creative concepts grounded in consumer insight and platform behavior.
- Write (and guide) strong copy and frameworks that influence perception and drive performance.
- Collaborate across design, editing, and media buying to ensure end-to-end creative alignment.
- Mentor and support junior creatives, helping them elevate execution and develop strategic thinking.
- Present creative ideas and directions to clients and internal teams with clarity and conviction.
- Translate performance data and qualitative feedback into actionable creative improvements.
- Stay ahead of emerging trends, cultural shifts, and creative formats that move the needle.
What we’re looking for
- Exceptional writing ability, ideally in short-form, digital-first content with a portfolio that shows the same.
- A strategic and creative mindset — equal parts intuitive and data-informed.
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior, platform algorithms, and brand storytelling.
- A track record of developing performance-first creative that drives real business results and a knack for interpreting performance data to inform creative pivots.
- Confident leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire creative teams.
- Passion for mentoring and uplifting others — and making the work better together.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a genuine love for shaping ideas that make people stop and feel something.
Must haves
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Based in Canada and aligned with ET working hours.
- Experience with performance creative and a data-driven creative approach.
- A strong portfolio that showcases your thinking, copywriting, and performance creativity across short-form and visual-first content.
- Comfort with interpreting performance data to inform creative pivots (experience with MotionApp is a plus).
- Experience collaborating across teams and disciplines in a fast-paced environment.
