Summary The Senior Partnerships Manager owns Deel's strategic relationship with Workday, positioning Deel as the specialized global payroll and compliance infrastructure that seamlessly extends Workday implementations for scaling and enterprise customers. This deeply technical and commercially accountable role sits at the intersection of Workday HCM-Finance integration architecture, global payroll, compliance, and finance operations. You will drive the core Workday relationship, field alignment, and GTM execution that make Deel the default payroll and compliance extension of Workday systems used by scaling and enterprise customers. Responsibilities Own and manage Deel's primary Workday relationship, building senior relationships across Workday alliances, product, finance transformation, and field leadership Align Deel's payroll, workforce, and compliance data models to Workday GL structures, subsidiaries, entities, and reporting hierarchies Partner with Product and Solutions Engineering to influence integration design, roadmap priorities, and Workday-critical workflows Enable seamless data flow between Workday HCM and Deel's payroll and compliance infrastructure Develop and execute joint GTM motions with Workday that position Deel as specialized global payroll and compliance infrastructure, not point solution HR software Translate Deel's value into CFO and CHRO language: internal controls, audit readiness, data integrity, cost predictability, global scalability, and compliance automation Enable Workday sellers and Deel AEs with CFO/CHRO-oriented messaging, objection handling, and competitive context Support enterprise opportunities where Workday alignment, payroll architecture, compliance posture, and HCM integration are decisive to winning Act as a technical and commercial partner on complex, multi-entity, multi-country Workday implementations Help map Workday GL, employee hierarchies, and financial systems to Deel's global employment and payroll structure Ensure clean handoffs between pre-sales, implementation, and ongoing Workday-linked operations Serve as a trusted escalation point when Workday, payroll, and finance workflows intersect Act as a subject-matter expert for Workday partnerships internally Proactively identify inefficiencies in Workday partnership processes, develop solutions independently, and document improvements to scale success Lead adaptation across Workday workstreams, create structure in ambiguity, and ensure continuity through change Own planning for the Workday partnership, incorporating trade-offs and scenario planning Influence decisions using clear, data-backed communication and coach others on best practices Align Workday initiatives to shared goals, remove blockers, and ensure the partnership delivers visible business impact Qualifications Proficient in spoken and written English with strong analytical skills 3–5+ years of experience in Workday partnerships, HCM integrations, finance systems GTM, or Workday-adjacent product roles Deep Workday experience (Workday directly, ISV, Workday Success Community, or partner ecosystem) Strong understanding of Workday HCM-Finance architecture: payroll accounting, GL posting, entity management, compliance, and reporting Strong understanding of Office of the CFO workflows: payroll accounting, GL posting, entity management, audit and compliance Comfort discussing data flows, integrations, controls, and system architecture with technical and finance stakeholders Proven ability to influence revenue through system-level positioning and partner-led GTM Executive presence with CFOs, Controllers, CHROs, and Finance leadership Experience with other incumbent HCM or ERP platforms (SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, ADP, NetSuite) is a plus Familiarity with global payroll, statutory compliance, or multi-country employment models is a plus Background in high-growth SaaS or platform companies selling into finance and HR organizations is a plus Experience with Workday Financials or Workday integrations within large enterprise environments is a plus Experience working in a remote, distributed team is a plus Application Deadline for U.S. Applicants: Recruiting timelines vary by position, however, all Deel positions accept applications for a minimum of 5 days from the posting date listed herein.
