Responsibilities
- Take ownership of designing, developing, testing and fixing web applications while prioritizing speed and stability
- Roll out additional features and improvements that build upon what current products already deliver
- Piece together new components for the system and bring external tools into the existing setup to keep pace with changing organizational needs
- Stick to accepted coding practices and contribute meaningfully to reviewing teammates' code submissions
- Treat quality as a top priority across the entire span of the development process
- Carry out comprehensive validation throughout development to make sure completed work satisfies established criteria and quality expectations
- Examine backlog entries thoroughly during grooming conversations to fully grasp actual project necessities
- Play a part in shoring up and sustaining the current infrastructure to enhance stability and prepare for future expansion
- Take turns being on-call to tackle critical situations swiftly as they emerge
Requirements
- No fewer than 3 years of applied, real-world experience coding in .NET and C#
- Strong JavaScript abilities complemented by genuine, practical use of jQuery
- Competent in CSS and HTML for producing interfaces that are both visually polished and responsive across different devices
- Substantial practical experience implementing the ASP.NET MVC pattern on live projects
- Strong ability to communicate clearly, demonstrated through effective collaboration within large, distributed teams
- Strong English proficiency, at minimum reaching a B2 level
Nice to have
- Background working with ASP.NET WebForms, particularly any involvement in shifting WebForms projects toward an MVC setup
- Familiarity with Bootstrap to support the creation of flexible, mobile-responsive page designs
- Confidence handling relational databases, including composing SQL queries to retrieve and manage information
- Direct experience applying LINQ to carry out data queries and manipulations within .NET solutions
