What you'll do
- Collaborate with art directors, copywriters, team members, and cross-functional design partners to develop visual concepts and ensure assets are optimized for various platforms.
- Translate abstract ideas and scripts into style frames and storyboards, establishing visual pacing, tone, and direction before production.
- Create 2D and occasionally 3D animations, kinetic typography, visual effects, and dynamic scenes using vector illustrations, photographs, and text assets.
- Integrate audio, music, and voiceover with visual elements to build cohesive final deliverables.
- Ensure motion assets align with brand guidelines.
- Maintain organized project files.
- Incorporate creative direction, client feedback, and peer feedback into iterative design improvements.
What they require
- 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Designer in an agency, in-house creative team, or studio environment, with a track record of delivering projects to market.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user experience and interaction design skills.
- Deep understanding of what makes an experience effective and ability to communicate design rationale.
- Strong wireframing and prototyping skills.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Framer, and Adobe XD.
- Strong eye for detail, composition, and pacing.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling and fluid animations.
- Strong design skills and ability to execute crafted designs that support motion and video projects.
