Role We are looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - South Majors to join our team. This is a Remote role, reporting to the Director, Sales Engineering in the Americas Field Sales department. As the Senior Manager, Sales Engineering - South Majors, you will manage and lead a team of Sales Engineers to closely collaborate with our field Account Executive team. You will lead as a technical expert, developing your team to successfully build strong customer relationships and effectively solve complex cybersecurity concerns. What you’ll do (Role Expectations) Hire and develop a high-performing sales engineering team to meet the demands of our South Majors segment Refine and optimize critical sales engineering processes including discovery, technical qualification, and proof-of-concept Develop and deliver impactful product and solution demonstrations that resonate with complex enterprise needs Provide strategic advice and support for requests for proposals (RFPs) by presenting tailored recommendations and clear business benefits to clients Who You Are (Success Profile) You act like an owner by fueling a bias for action with a passion for the mission, navigating seamlessly between high-level strategy and hands-on execution. What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications) Demonstrated curiosity and active exploration of AI tools, with a proven history of integrating new technologies to enhance daily workflows and augment problem-solving Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience 10+ years of experience in sales engineering or systems engineering 5+ years of experience directly managing and leading a sales engineering team Demonstrated experience selling network security technologies within an enterprise environment What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) Proven track record as a subject matter expert participating in regional industry events and professional organizations Deep experience managing technical sales cycles for major enterprise accounts #LI-EV1 #LI-Remote Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
