What you'll do

  • Partner with executive leaders on organizational design, workforce and succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Own systems and processes with a data-driven lens.
  • Evaluate and optimize people processes, including finding opportunities to leverage AI and automation.
  • Lead the development and execution of Extend’s internal communication calendar and strategies related to key People programs, ensuring team members across all levels are informed, engaged and aligned with changes to policies, procedures, upcoming news and key initiatives.
  • In partnership with leadership, create and manage content for internal channels to ensure clear, engaging and consistent messaging and companywide alignment.
  • Lead company-wide performance management, talent reviews, compensation planning, and career development programs.
  • Coach managers through employee relations, performance conversations, organizational change, and leadership challenges.
  • Drive strategic People initiatives that improve engagement, learning and development, retention, and manager effectiveness (including Mento and LinkedIn Learning, among others).
  • Develop scalable manager enablement programs, tools, and resources.
  • Analyze People metrics and trends to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve how we work as a company, including on- and off-sites.
  • Maintain and audit People records and required compliance documentation.
  • Mentor members of the People Team and help establish best practices as the organization grows.
  • Jump in wherever needed.

What they require

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in people-focused roles at high-growth technology companies.
  • Strong HR Operations, HR Business Partner, or related experience with demonstrated success working with, coaching, and influencing executives and senior leaders.
  • Experience leading company-wide talent initiatives including performance management, compensation, organizational design, and leadership development.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional business judgment and ability to balance employee advocacy with business needs.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building programs from the ground up.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
  • Resilience, flexibility and the ability to work quickly and effectively cross-functionally.
