What you'll do

  • Own and scale Point's highest-volume marketing channel—the direct-to-consumer direct mail prescreen program.
  • Explore and test opportunities such as Triggers, 3rd-party list buys, ITAs, and new data sources to scale volume efficiently.
  • Independently conduct deep, hands-on analysis of campaign performance to uncover insights, measure ROI, and recommend optimizations.
  • Write your own SQL, do deep analysis to understand how different segments respond and convert, and pressure-test results.
  • Analyze and optimize to improve KPIs such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), response and conversion rates, cost per funded customer.
  • Own campaign forecasting and in-month pacing.
  • Work hand-in-glove with the Data Science team to develop, validate, and continuously refine prescreen criteria, audience scoring/response models, and value estimation.
  • Translate business questions into modeling requirements, stress-test model outputs, and turn them into targeting decisions—acting as the connective tissue between analytics and channel execution.
  • Manage relationships with multiple print, data/list, and agency vendors end-to-end.
  • Set clear SLAs and quality standards, coordinate timelines across partners, resolve issues quickly, and hold vendors accountable for accurate, timely, performance-oriented work.
  • Design and run well-controlled experiments on creative, targeting strategies, offer construction, and the mail decision itself—defining success metrics, sizing tests appropriately, and reading results rigorously to meet growth goals while managing risk.
  • Author creative briefs and lead cross-functional collaboration to develop, iterate, and test new direct mail creative.
  • Partner with Creative/Content teams and external agencies to ensure messaging accuracy, compliance, and brand consistency.
  • Oversee complex, multi-workstream campaign operations with meticulous attention to detail and clear communication across stakeholders.
  • Manage the direct mail budget, ensuring efficient allocation and high ROI.

What they require

  • 7+ years of experience in growth, performance, or analytics-focused marketing.
  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale prescreen direct mail programs (3M+ mail pieces per month), ideally within consumer lending, financial services, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Proven success owning growth initiatives and delivering measurable business outcomes while managing significant marketing budgets.
  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to independently interrogate complex datasets, validate analyses (whether self-generated or produced by analysts or AI), and translate findings into strategic business decisions.
  • Experience partnering closely with Data Science, Analytics, and AI teams to develop targeting, scoring, forecasting, and experimentation strategies.
  • Demonstrated ability to define and lead end-to-end testing and experimentation roadmaps that drive continuous optimization and business growth.
  • Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, building scalable processes and operational frameworks where they do not yet exist.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to identify key business questions, prioritize opportunities, and influence decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple external partners and vendors (including print, data, and agency partners) while maintaining exceptional quality, accuracy, and execution.
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior leaders and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a high bar for accuracy and execution.
