What you'll do

  • Leading and advising on restructuring strategy, liquidity management, parallel processes, out-of-court negotiations and bankruptcy preparation and execution.
  • Developing and executing restructuring and turnaround plans to maximize stakeholder value.
  • Developing financial models including integrated P&L, balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and 13-week cash flow forecasts.
  • Acting as primary contact on assigned engagements and keeping Partners informed of progress.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and client personnel.
  • Managing a team of professionals and delegating work assignments as needed.
  • Encouraging a team environment and contributing to professional development of assigned personnel.
  • Traveling to clients local, regional, and national.
  • Participating in marketing and networking for new business, identifying and developing new business proposals.

What they require

  • Prior experience in the automotive industry required.
  • Eight (8) or more years of prior experience performing business restructuring, valuations, and/or related consulting services.
  • Five (5) or more years of management experience including experience managing internal / external teams.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field.
  • Preferred: Advanced knowledge of bankruptcy and insolvency process.
  • Preferred: MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Preferred: CFA, CIRA and/or CTP designation; CPA, CFE and other relevant certifications beneficial.
  • Prior experience working within a consulting organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to review work product developed by others.
  • Ability and willingness to meet engagement deadlines and produce superior work product.
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills; ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
