Senior Loss Control Consultant for the Greater Los Angeles region; Senior level, 10+ years of loss control experience preferred. Must reside in the Greater Los Angeles territory and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Role requires strong workers' compensation knowledge, training delivery, and up to 60% travel (company car provided).

What you'll do

  • Provide technically competent Loss Control Services in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Survey and service commercial risks of any size and/or complexity for workers' compensation coverage.
  • Originate and manage all service account scheduling and activities for the assigned territory; meet or exceed service standards.
  • Accomplish risk improvement by providing management consultation, developing recommendations for hazard control, and providing direct support services to insureds.
  • Conduct loss control services and training for customers; maintain specialized professional capabilities and knowledge of applicable codes and regulations.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 10+ years of loss control experience working for a major writer of workers' compensation insurance is preferred.
  • The successful candidate will reside in the Greater Los Angeles territory.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
  • Strong workers' compensation knowledge and ability to conduct training programs and classes for clients.
  • Broad knowledge of commercial lines coverage, engineering principles, loss control concepts, safety standards and codes; industry designations (ARM, CET, CSP) or degree in Engineering preferred; Masters in Safety and Health may substitute for one designation.
