What you'll do

  • Lead the redlining & negotiating process and own SaaS enterprise sales contracts as the primary focus of this role—including MSA, GTC/ToS, NDA, DPA, and other legal agreements—enabling the AMER sales team to close deals efficiently and with legal confidence
  • Advise on legal principles relating to data privacy, IP, information security, and corporate risk mitigation
  • Lead the review and negotiate partnership agreements with our partners in AMER
  • Lead (globally) with review and negotiation of procurement and marketing contracts as needed
  • Lead HR related projects & provide legal support for certain U.S. employment and labor law topics
  • Draft, review, and maintain company-wide policies in accordance with applicable legal requirements and organisational governance standards
  • Monitor and assess new applicable laws and regulations, advising the business on emerging legal risks and required adaptations to agreements, policies, or operational practices
  • Provide legal advice and lead from a legal perspective new product initiatives & feature launches
  • Initiate and lead comprehensive legal training to different teams
  • Independently lead and own the end-to-end delivery of cross-functional legal projects across multiple business regions
  • Identify, scope, and lead improvement initiatives across legal functions where operational, compliance, or process gaps are identified
  • Identify and lead the continuous improvement of legal processes, templates, and governance frameworks
  • Support the legal team to build and maintain documentation for the whole team
  • Be responsible across a range of administrative functions and project-based work
  • Provide accurate and concise legal research as needed
  • Be an active part in our yearly legal review and improvement process

What they require

  • Law Degree and Bar Admission to at least one jurisdiction in the U.S.
  • 3+ years of experience with a primary focus on drafting, redlining, and negotiating sales contracts.
  • Preferred: SaaS or fast-paced tech experience providing in-house support to enterprise sales teams.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering directly with Enterprise Sales teams to negotiate customer-facing commercial agreements, including MSAs, DPAs, NDAs, Terms of Service, and related SaaS contracts.
  • Strong understanding of commercial contracting with deep expertise in sales contracts and legal processes.
  • Preferred: Broad and in-depth specialized knowledge of AMER legal framework plus some knowledge of EMEA and APAC topics.
  • Excellent English language skills.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of contracts under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders including sales, finance, HR, and product teams.
  • Interested in learning fast and participating in a wide variety of legal projects.
  • Skilled in providing concise legal advice to business teams.
  • Ability to analyze the needs of different parties quickly and provide a creative solution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, operating effectively within a broader legal team.
  • Understands how to work within complex legal and business processes.
  • Enthusiasm for building and improving existing processes.
  • Good organizational skills & capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates AI literacy, with the ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and quality of work.
  • Takes initiative and has a sense of accountability - proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented.
