Position : Senior Estimator – Joinery Salary : PHP 80,000 - 112,000 per month Working Hours & Conditions : AU Working Hours and Holidays, Remote About the Role A fast-scaling Australian joinery manufacturer breaking heavily into large-scale commercial sectors including education, health, hospitality, and high-end residential projects. With project values and lead volumes rapidly increasing, We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator who can own the complete commercial pipeline: bringing in the right work, pricing it with surgical precision, and successfully closing the deal. The position requires a sharp, confident professional who can take complex, multi-trade commercial joinery scopes up to $1M+ and turn them into accurate, defensible quotes—without needing a senior manager to check line-by-line. This is not an entry-level or developing role; Thus requires someone who brings immediate industry authority, deep take-off expertise, and strong business acumen to hit the ground running on Day 1. Key Responsibilities 1. Commercial Ownership & Tender Management Pipeline Management : Drive the full commercial cycle identifying opportunities, running take-offs, negotiating terms, and securing signed contracts. Client Relationship Leadership : Function as the primary commercial point of contact for tier-1/tier-2 builders and clients. Confidently lead negotiations, chase decisions, defend margins under pressure, and manage RFIs or addendums. Value-Engineering & Risk Mitigation : Flag pricing risks, scope gaps, and buildability challenges during tender periods before they reach production. 2. Estimating & Multi-Trade Scoping End-to-End Pricing : Prepare accurate take-offs, manage supplier pricing, and maintain strict margin controls across multi-trade commercial scopes including joinery, cabinetry, pinboards, whiteboards, architectural metalwork, stone, and custom upholstery. Drawing & Spec Fluency : Independently review and interpret architectural and interior design drawings, joinery details, and complex project spec sheets. System Operations : Execute precise quotes inside the company's operations platform, ensuring clean turnarounds ready for job conversion within 24 hours of acceptance. 3. Continuous Improvement & Systems Leadership Commercial Feedback Loop : Reconcile completed projects against initial estimates to continuously optimize pricing models and eliminate repeating scope misses. Process Optimization : Refine and elevate internal estimating systems and bidding strategies using proven industry experience. Requirements Requirements & Experience Proven Track Record : Extensive experience as a Joinery or Shopfitting Estimator managing complex commercial quotes averaging $1M+ in value. Multi-Trade Expertise : Comprehensive understanding of joinery and integrated trades (stone, upholstery, metalwork, pinboards, whiteboards). Software Mastery : Expert-level Bluebeam skills are mandatory. Fluency with structured ERP platforms (JOBMAN experience is an advantage). Negotiation & Closing Skills : Demonstrated ability to not just price tenders, but actively negotiate, overcome client objections, and close deals. Commercial Judgment : Sharp instincts to assess lead quality early and allocate time exclusively to high-yield opportunities.
