No BS summary

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer based in Latin America or Canada to join our remotely distributed mobile team. What you'll do

  • Build and continually improve your own agentic development workflow: from PRDs to technical specs, epics, tickets, development plans, and high-quality code with thorough tests.
  • Drive quality through disciplined verification and both agentic and human code review, on your own code and your teammates.
  • Extend our agentic review tooling and hold the bar on what gets merged.
  • Apply your agentic workflow in both greenfield and legacy code.
  • Own and improve quality automation: CI pipelines, checks, and gates.
  • Design and maintain testable architecture and test suites.
  • Develop and refine our mobile SDK.
  • Continuously refactor and simplify code.
  • Take ownership of features end to end: requirements, design, ticketing, implementation, testing validation, shipping and production support.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

What they require

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; strong CS fundamentals (data structures, API design, testing, clean code instinct)
  • Proven production delivery: shipped iOS apps to App Store and owned features through release and production support.
  • Excellent written and spoken English (approximately C1 level) to work fully in English on a distributed team.
  • 6+ years hands-on professional software engineering, 5+ years focused on iOS.
  • Deep Swift expertise including protocol-oriented programming.
  • Production experience with UIKit and unidirectional data-flow architectures (TCA, Redux, ReSwift, or similar).
  • Solid command of Swift concurrency (async/await, AsyncSequence) and Combine for UI, data, concurrency.
  • Demonstrated quality focus beyond 'writing tests': configured CI/CD for iOS (GitHub Actions, Bitrise, etc.) not just consumed.
  • Hands-on unit and integration/regression test writing.
  • Experience with software using disciplined agentic flows.
  • A scrutinizing, questioning mindset; you don't accept output, yours or an agent's, at face value.
  • Sound judgment, pragmatic approach, open mind.

Benefits

  • Flexible PTO
  • Laptop and WFH Stipend
  • Technology Monthly Stipend (internet/AI)
