What you'll do

  • Manage and resolve end-to-end employee exits across multiple international jurisdictions
  • Provide guidance on termination, resignation, transfer, and redundancy processes ensuring legal compliance
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with clients and external employees, including workforce reduction consultations and negotiations
  • Influence and negotiate positive outcomes in complex terminations
  • Liaise with payroll, legal counsel, government bodies, and trade unions for compliance
  • Draft and administer termination and supplementary documents with accuracy
  • Process offboarding on Remote's internal HRIS platform
  • Provide first-level Employee Relations support and conduct preliminary assessments of workplace concerns

What they require

  • Experience as HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies
  • Proven experience managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with care, sensitivity and legal compliance
  • Ability to interpret and apply industrial instruments
  • Basic understanding of employee relations principles and progressive discipline approaches
  • Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills
  • Business-level (advanced) proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Demonstrates strong automation and AI capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and cohesively in an asynchronous remote environment
